Engine
The car has turbocharged 1405 cc indirect ignition diesel engine with inter cooler giving a maximum torque of 13.5 kgm @2500rpm and maximum power of 70 PS@4500rpm.
Safety
Standard safety features have been incorporated in Tata Indigo SX including Audio warning signal for driver seat belt, Central Locking, Child Safety locks on Rear Doors, High mounted stop lamp, Key in/out,door open audio warning signal, Remote release for fuel and trunk lid, Seat belts etc. The car has Rack and pinion type steering wheel with collapsible steering column.
