The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai, who is in France to attend the on-going Cannes Film Festival, mesmerized Hollywood hunk Russell Crowe to the extent that they have been discussing the possibility of doing a big Hollywood film together very soon.
It is heared that, it was on the first day of the function for Russell Crowe’s flick ‘Robin Hood’, where Aish walked the red carpet, that they started bonding well and later it continued to the point where possibility of a film together was being considered.
In fact, Russell Crowe was accompanied by his wife Danielle Spencer, who was seen bonding well with Aishwarya Rai. She was also excited about the two most beautiful persons coming together in a film. She was talking about ‘Ravaana’
However, Abhishek Bachchan was not there to accompany her on the red carpet, like last year.
Yes!! Aishwarya rai is on top of the world today as the prestigious TIME magazine has included her in its list of top 100 alumnae. The magazine’s illustrious list also has some of the biggest and most iconic names from across the world including Condoleezza Rice, Stella McCartney, Sarah Palin and Nora Roberts among many other top women of the world today.
“Ash is evidently delighted with the development. When she first burst into the entertainment industry, her only goal was to do quality work and she’s always tried to push the benchmarks that she set for herself. That’s why she became the biggest brand in the West and has managed to build on it like no other actor.” A source close to the actor reveals.
The source adds on saying,
“The list has the biggest names in the world and Ash in the only Indian to be featuring in it. It’s a huge honour. It just goes to show why she is offered the best films nationally and internationally. She has a lot of Hollywood offers and some big announcement on that front might soon happen.”
Abhishek Bachchan has no doubt come a long way from where he started a decade back. Though he has managed to please the audience and critics in many of films over the years, his father still believes he can do better.
Apparently when Amitabh Bachchan saw the promo of Raavan for the first time, he quite liked it.
“My father patted on my back and said well done,” says a cheerful Abhsihek. “And then he turned back and said Aishwarya was better than I was!” he laughs out.
He added saying,
“She is one of the best actors we have in the film industry and her work for herself. I don’t compete with her or anybody else. I just compete with myself,”.
Don’t worry Abhi!!! A day is not very far when you would be at par with your wife.
Svelte beauty Aishwarya Rai suffered through uncountable number of cuts and bruises while shooting for her film ‘Raavana’.
Reportedly, the actress was to climb a steepy rock mountain for one of the scene in the film and while performing the stunt, she underwent the injuries.
‘Raavana’ takes inspiration from the epic Ramayana, and so the major part of the film is shot in the thick dense forests of Kerela. Needless to say how difficult it is to shoot there in amidst wild animals and difficult circumstances.
Also, ‘Raavana’ is being filmed in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously with Vikram as a lead in the Tamil version while Abhishek playing the lead in the Hindi edit.
Aishwarya is playing the central character in both the versions, so she has to climb the mountain twice as much as everyone else with Abhishek and Vikram separetely.
What’s more impressive is Ash acted as the most supportive person and went on climbing the slippery rocks without even complaining about insect bites, injuries and other troubles that she had to gone through in the forest.
